Airlines - Part 1

Airlines will have to be separated in parts since every time I fly something seems to happen.  It's gotten to the point that I highly suspect all airlines make it their highest goal to ruin the whole flying experience and put you in a state of misery.

Yesterday I was scheduled for a flight.  It was a nice overnight flight from Seattle to Detroit to NY through Delta airlines.  Then I got an email 2 hrs earlier saying it was canceled and they automatically rebooked me for another flight.  The new flight has me leaving today at night then sends me to Atlanta and then Detroit and finally NY.  The flight adds over 5hrs extra time and leaves little time between flights to catch some food even though it overlaps 2 meals.    I didn't like that they just decided this and didn't give me options so I called the phone line they left me, and got told they can't answer the phones due to weather and hung up on me. At this point I was getting pretty frustrated.  Because even in bad weather the phonelines shouldn't be down. Then when I checked online I  FOUND OUT THE FLIGHT WAS NEVER CANCELED!   They lied to me, the flight flew on time.  Why they canceled me I have no idea, why I have to fly this stupid 2 layover flight today and tomorrow is beyond me.  Why I'm not given an option to atleast cancel my flight and get fulling reimbursed, again beyond me.

But what makes me rage the most about this whole fiasco is NO CHICK-FIL-A!!!! The Atlanta airport is one of the few places I could get chick-fil-a, but i'll be there too early in the morning to eat it!!!

  1. They probably double-booked you.

Man, I've got some really angry flight stories too, but it was more about US customs/airports than say the actual airline's fault.
